Events & Activities

Nestled between the picturesque communities of Almonte and Pakenham, Ontario, Fulton’s is one of Lanark County’s best-loved and well-known sugar camps.

The facility and grounds are home to self-guided and group guided maple tours.  Other features include walking and Nordic hiking trails, a "Walk Through Time on the Heritage Maple Path" and a Maple Shoppe where you can buy maple inspired spa products, maple gourmet products and of course everyone’s favourite—mmmmm maple syrup!

We invite you, your family and friends to share in our Canadian tradition—making maple memories. As always, admission and parking at Fulton’s is complimentary!

Please note - we do not allow visiting dogs (unless a Service Dog) as we have resident dogs and horses on site.

A Walk Through Time on the Heritage Maple Path

Take a step back in time and explore the earliest methods of sap-to-syrup production.  Warm your toes at the campfire, have a seat on the lean-to shelter.  The cedar covered tipi, hollowed logs used in aboriginal camps, historic, pioneer cauldrons, wooden gathering tanks and more  will spark your imagination and take you back in time.  Take pictures along the way!  You never know what you will see along the walking trails and on the Heritage Path.  The length of your visit, weather, outdoor temperatures, depth of snow and the animals that trek through our sugar bush will make every visit unique.

Between 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, each weekend, on Family Day Monday and every day of March Break, Chad Clifford is ready to bring your visit to life.  You may hear him talking about or demonstrating primitive fire methods, pioneer flutes, looking for animal tracks, traditional uses of plants, bow making... you never know!  Come and join us!

Included with every visit:
