FAQs

What are your hours of operation?

Maple Season 2026: February 28 through April 19

  • Mon-Fri: 10 am – 3 pm
Saturday, Sunday, Ontario March Break, Good Friday & Easter Sunday: 10 am – 4 pm

The rest of the year:
Only our Maple Shop is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm. Our trails and sugar camp (production building) are open exclusively during maple season. If you can’t visit on a Tuesday or Friday, please contact us at info@fultons.ca, and we’ll do our best to arrange an alternate time for you.

When is maple season?

Maple season typically runs from late February through early April, depending on weather conditions. This is when we tap our trees, open our trails and offer sugar bush tours, sleigh rides, and fresh maple taffy experiences.

How do I pick up my online order?

Always remember to wait for a notification that your order is ready for pickup. When you arrive, head to the main building (The Maple Shop). Look for the red maple leaf sign marked “Delivery/Pickup” and follow the arrow. Your order will be waiting on the shelving inside. Keep in mind, this door is always open, even when the Maple Shop is closed after hours.

Do you ship across Canada?

Absolutely! We ship all of our products across Canada. Visit our online store and place your order. If you have any difficulties or questions, please call us at 613-256-3867 or email us at info@fultons.ca.

Are your products available in other retail stores?

Yes! You can also find our products in select retail shops, spas, and boutiques that support us. Check the list here.

Do I need a pass to visit?

Yes. During maple season, please purchase a Stay & Play Pass ($20 + HST per vehicle), which includes $10 Maple Money to use in our Maple Shop. Passes are available online or on-site. The pass is not required if you’re just picking up an online order or shopping during the off-season.

Do I need to book the guided tour in advance?

During maple season, guided tours are typically available on weekends and other special dates. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as spots tend to fill quickly. Limited availability may be offered upon arrival.

Note: If you have a group of 10 or more or need special arrangements, please email us at info@fultons.ca.

Can we tap a tree?

At Fulton’s Sugar Bush, we collect maple sap through approximately 35 km of pipeline that winds across our 400-acre property. Generations before us tapped trees with buckets, and we’re thrilled to showcase this tradition during our Guided Tour.

What can we do with kids at Fulton’s during maple season?

During the week (quieter visits, with lots of space to explore):

  • 9 km of groomed trails and trail games
  • Heritage Path
  • Playground and sledding hill (snow dependent)
  • Tasting Bar and plenty of time for curious questions with our team

On weekends, Ontario March Break, and Easter Weekend (busier and more interactive):

  • All of the above, plus
  • Guided Tours
  • Campfires
  • Horse-drawn sleigh rides
  • Maple Taffy
Do I need snowshoes to walk the trails?

Most days, boots are all you’ll need, as Scott keeps our trails well groomed. However, since the weather can bring snow or mud, we recommend warm, waterproof footwear for your adventure.

Do you have a restaurant?

No. The Pancake House Restaurant portion of our business closed permanently in 2020. That same space has been transformed into a beautiful, more spacious retail shopping area with a Maple Tasting Bar.

During maple season, our Grab ’N Go counter features family favourites like maple butter tarts, cookies, and more, along with hot and cold beverages to enjoy outdoors.

Do you have accessible parking?

Yes. We have a designated accessible parking area near the Maple Shop. Just follow the signs. If you need assistance, please ask our staff; we’ll be happy to help!

Are there washrooms on-site?

Yes. The Maple Shop has two indoor washrooms and a baby change station.

Are pets allowed?

No. Because we have horses on-site, pets are not allowed on the property (with the exception of licensed service dogs).

Can I buy products year-round?

Yes! Our Maple Shop is open daily during maple season, and on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the rest of the year. You can also order online for delivery anywhere in Canada or pickup at the farm. From organic maple syrup to gourmet maple treats, the sweetness never ends.

Do you also do fundraising initiatives, corporate gifting, wedding favours or wholesale sales?

Yes! We’re happy to help with all of the above and more. Please fill out this form, and a member of our team will be in touch.

What makes Fulton's maple syrup different?

Our maple syrup is certified organic, single-source, and crafted using traditional methods passed down through six generations. We tap only our own sugar maple trees on our 400-acre property in Pakenham, Ontario, ensuring complete control over quality and authenticity.

Is Fulton’s accessible for groups or special outings?

Yes! Our sugar bush is a popular destination for families, community and corporate groups, and out-of-town visitors. Contact us for more information or to plan your visit.
